Allan Pratt

Allan is the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for The Watts Theater Company. Through out college Allan was active in Theater Arts. Allan graduated from San Francisco State University in 1988, with a BA Degree in Broadcast Communications. After working behind-the-scenes for television programs and KBHK-TV in San Francisco, Allan earned his MBA Degree program at Golden Gate University (San Francisco) in 1996, and specialized in Marketing, Management, and Technology.

Allan worked as a Marketing Communications Manager/Director and PR Manager for a monitor manufacturer, network hardware manufacturers, software start-ups, and a marketing consultancy that advised high-tech clients. Allan became an expert in creating, planning, and implementing advertising, marketing, public relations, and promotional campaigns.

In April 2001, Allan gave a presentation to the Salt Lake Olympic Committee with the objective of winning the contract for the 2002 Olympics. Due in large part to Allan’s efforts, the company won the contract.

Allan’s professional memberships include: American Marketing Association, PR Society of Los Angeles, Press Club of Los Angeles, Business Marketing Association, International Association of Business Communicators, Allan also volunteers for the Foundation for the Junior Blind in Los Angeles.
